Jon McGlocklin Autographs
Jon McGlocklin was a professional basketball player who had a successful career in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born in Franklin, Indiana in 1943, McGlocklin attended Indiana University where he played for the Hoosiers men’s basketball team. In 1965, he was drafted by the Cincinnati Royals in fifth round of the NBA draft but was subsequently traded to the Chicago Bulls. He joined the Milwaukee Bucks in 1968 where he would go on to become a key player on the team that won the NBA Championship in 1971.
McGlocklin played as a shooting guard and was known for his accurate shooting, especially from the three-point range. During his career, he averaged 9.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. McGlocklin was selected to play in the NBA All-Star Game in 1969, and he was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in 1986. In addition to his playing career, McGlocklin went on to become a successful broadcaster, covering NBA games for nearly four decades.
McGlocklin is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in Milwaukee Bucks history, with his number 14 jersey being retired by the team. He was also a key player on the 1971 Bucks team that won the NBA Championship, alongside stars such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson. McGlocklin’s skillful shooting was instrumental in his team’s success, and his contributions to the game of basketball have earned him a well-deserved place in its history.
