Kenneth Faried Autographs
Kenneth Faried, born on November 19, 1989, is an American retired professional basketball player. Faried grew up in Newark, New Jersey, where he initially started playing basketball. He played college basketball at Morehead State University and was drafted by the Denver Nuggets as the 22nd overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. Faried quickly became an integral part of the Nuggets' success, especially during the 2012-2013 season, where he averaged 11.5 points, 9.2 rebounds, and a block per game earning him All-NBA Second Team honors.
Faried spent seven seasons with the Denver Nuggets and played the 2018-2019 season with the Brooklyn Nets before joining the Zhejiang Golden Bulls of the Chinese Basketball Association in 2019-2020. Faried's style of play was built around his energy, hustle and rim-rattling dunks. He had a knack for rebounding, evident from his nickname "The Manimal." Faried's work ethic was also second to none. He was a fierce competitor who always played hard on both ends of the court.
Despite his lack of size, Faried played with intensity, passion, and a high motor, which made him a valuable asset for any team. He earned the hearts of his fans and the respect of his teammates. In his retirement statement, Faried acknowledged his love for basketball and thanked everyone who had helped him throughout his career. While he never won any NBA Championship or MVP awards, his efforts did not go unnoticed as he was recognized as one of the league's top rebounders and energy players.
