Loy Vaught Autograph

Loy Vaught, born in East Orange, New Jersey in 1968, is an American former professional basketball player who enjoyed a successful career in the NBA during the 1990s. Vaught played college basketball at the University of Michigan from 1986-1990, where he was named to the All-Big Ten First Team in 1990. In his NBA career, Vaught played predominantly as a power forward and was known for his rebounding abilities and consistent scoring. He had a long and productive career, playing 11 seasons in the league, including a stint with the Detroit Pistons where he enjoyed some of his most successful years. Vaught played in 787 NBA games over the course of his career, averaging 10.7 points per game and 7.4 rebounds per game.

Vaught’s most successful season came in 1995-96, when he averaged 16.2 points and 9.7 rebounds per game for the Pistons. That season, he was named to the NBA All-Star team and helped lead the Pistons to the playoffs. Despite never winning a championship, Vaught had a successful and respected career in the NBA, and is remembered for his toughness, work ethic, and leadership on and off the court.
