Otto Porter Autographs
Otto Porter Jr. was born on June 3, 1993, in St. Louis, Missouri, and was raised in Sikeston. He started playing basketball at an early age, and due to his unique athletic ability and size, he quickly stood out among his peers. Porter attended Scott County Central High School, where he had an impressive high school basketball career, leading his team to three state championships. Porter was named Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year and was also selected to the McDonald's All-American and Jordan Brand Classic All-Star games.
After high school, Porter committed to play college basketball at Georgetown University. In his sophomore year, Porter was named to the All-Big East First Team, averaging 16.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, leading Georgetown back to the NCAA tournament. In the summer of 2013, Porter declared for the NBA draft and was selected third overall by the Washington Wizards.
Porter played for the Wizards from 2013 to 2019, where he established himself as a reliable scorer and solid defender. In the 2016-17 season, Porter set career highs in points per game, rebounds per game, and assists per game, helping the Wizards make it to the Eastern Conference Semifinals. He was also named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week twice during that season. Porter was eventually traded to the Chicago Bulls in 2019, where he continues to play today. With his size, hustle, and versatility on both ends of the floor, Porter is a valuable asset to any team he plays for.
