Pat Connaughton Autographs
Pat Connaughton was born on January 6, 1993, in Arlington, Massachusetts, and was raised in nearby Milton. He started playing basketball from an early age and played for his high school team at St. John's Preparatory School in Danvers, Massachusetts. During his high school career, Connaughton was a star athlete, averaging 23 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists per game as a senior. He was also named Massachusetts' Gatorade Player of the Year in 2011.
After high school, Connaughton enrolled at the University of Notre Dame, where he played for the Fighting Irish men's basketball team. He played in 139 games for Notre Dame over four seasons, amassing 1,346 points, 725 rebounds, and 292 assists. Connaughton was selected in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets, but was immediately traded to the Portland Trail Blazers. He played in 23 games for the Blazers in his rookie season, averaging 1.1 points and 0.6 rebounds per game. Connaughton played for the Trail Blazers for three seasons before signing with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2018.
In his first season with the Bucks, Connaughton played in 61 games and was a key player for the team's run to the Eastern Conference Finals. In the 2019-2020 season, Connaughton averaged a career-high 5.4 points per game and was selected to participate in the NBA's All-Star weekend Slam Dunk Contest. Connaughton is known for his outstanding athleticism and his ability to shoot the ball from long range. Off the court, he is also a talented baseball player and was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the fourth round of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft.
