Perry Jones Autographs
Perry Jones is a retired American professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Jones was born on September 24, 1991, in Winnfield, Louisiana, and began playing basketball in high school, where he was ranked as one of the top players in the country. He enrolled at Baylor University in 2010 and played for two seasons, during which he was named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Year and helped lead Baylor to a spot in the NCAA tournament.
After his sophomore season, Jones declared himself eligible for the 2012 NBA draft and was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the 28th overall pick. He played for the Thunder for three seasons, averaging 3.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game before being traded to the Boston Celtics in 2015. Jones played sparingly for the Celtics before being waived before the start of the 2016-17 season. Jones briefly played in the NBA G League before signing with a team in Russia in 2018 to continue his professional career.
Despite not achieving the level of success many had hoped for in the NBA, Perry Jones left a lasting impact on the sport throughout his career. He was known for his athleticism and versatility on the court, and his success at Baylor paved the way for future draft picks from the school. Jones now serves as a mentor and coach to young basketball players, using his own experiences to guide and inspire the next generation of players.
