Maravich played for Louisiana State University from 1967 to 1970, where he quickly became a star player. In his college career, he scored a total of 3,667 points, an NCAA record that still stands. Throughout his professional career, Maravich played for several teams, including the Atlanta Hawks, Utah Jazz, and Boston Celtics. He was known for his exceptional ball-handling skills, his ability to accurately shoot from any range, and his entertaining style on the court. Despite facing several injuries and setbacks, he continued to play and managed to make a significant impact on the sport before retiring in 1980.
