Randy Foye Autographs
Randy Foye is a former professional basketball player from Newark, New Jersey. Born on September 24, 1983, Foye attended East Side High School where he won two New Jersey state championships before accepting a scholarship to play at Villanova University. In his college career, Foye was a three-time First Team All-Big East selection and helped lead the Wildcats to the Elite Eight in his senior year. Foye was selected seventh overall in the 2006 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics but was immediately traded to the Portland Trail Blazers.
In his NBA career, Foye played for seven different teams, including the Minnesota Timberwolves, Washington Wizards, Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Brooklyn Nets. He played both guard positions and was known for his scoring ability, averaging over 10 points per game in 10 of his 11 NBA seasons. Foye was also a solid three-point shooter, hitting 36% of his attempts from beyond the arc throughout his career. While he never made an NBA All-Star team, Foye was a valuable role player on many teams and was always a threat to score when on the court.
Off the court, Foye has been involved in several charitable endeavors, including his Randy Foye Foundation, which focuses on helping underprivileged children in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey. Foye has also been a mentor to many aspiring basketball players, including his younger brother, who followed in his footsteps and played college basketball at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Foye retired from basketball in 2018 and currently works as a player development mentor for the Brooklyn Nets.
