Randy Smith Autographs
Randy Smith (1948-2009) was an American professional basketball player who dedicated his life to the sport. He was born in Bellport, New York and raised by his mother, who encouraged him to pursue his passion for basketball. Smith was known for his incredible speed, and his ability to shoot, pass and dribble with ease.
His basketball career started in 1971, when he was selected in the NBA draft by the Buffalo Braves. Smith played his first game for the Braves on October 11, 1971, and quickly established himself as a valuable member of the team. During his 13-year NBA career, Smith played for several teams, including the Buffalo Braves, San Diego Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks.
Smith was known for his incredible durability, playing in a record-setting 906 consecutive games. He was also an All-Star, an All-Defensive player, and the NBA All-Star Game MVP in 1978. Smith retired in 1983, but will always be remembered as one of the most talented and dedicated basketball players of his generation. His contributions to the sport will always be remembered by his fans and the basketball community.
