During his nine years in the NBA, Stuckey was recognized as a talented and versatile player, who played in all positions, with a particular focus on point guard and shooting guard. He scored high points in many games, with a career-high of 40 points in a game against Chicago Bulls in 2009. Stuckey's agility, shooting accuracy, and ball-handling skills made him a valuable asset on the court, with an outstanding scoring average of 13.4 points in 651 career games.

Despite his remarkable basketball career, Stuckey announced his retirement from the NBA in 2019 after suffering several injuries that limited his ability to perform at his best on the court. Nevertheless, his legacy in the sport remains, with many young basketball players citing him as a source of inspiration and role model.
