Ron Harper is a former American professional basketball player born on January 20, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio. He's played basketball for over 15 years across teams in different countries. Standing at 6-foot-6, he played both the shooting guard and point guard position with excellent ball handling and scoring abilities. Harper began his professional career in 1986 when he was selected eighth overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He spent four seasons with the Cavaliers becoming an All-Star in 1989, guiding the team to the playoffs twice. In 1990, he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, where he played for two and a half seasons. He was then traded to the Chicago Bulls, where he made valuable contributions, winning three straight NBA championships alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen from 1995 to 1997.
