Rony Seikaly Autographs
Rony Seikaly was born on May 10, 1965, in Beirut, Lebanon. He later moved to Greece, where his family owned a shipping business. He played basketball for the Greek National Team before moving to the United States to attend Syracuse University. It was there that Seikaly began to make a name for himself as a dominant center, averaging 15.7 points and 10.2 rebounds per game during his four years with the team.
After his time at Syracuse, Seikaly was drafted by the Miami Heat with the ninth overall pick in the 1988 NBA draft. He would go on to play for the Heat for six seasons, becoming the team's all-time leading rebounder in only his second year. Throughout his career, Seikaly was known for his toughness and agility, making him a formidable presence on the court. Despite facing injuries throughout his career, Seikaly continued to play at a high level, earning him the honor of being named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 1992.
Following his time with the Heat, Seikaly played for several other teams before ultimately retiring in 1999. He finished his NBA career with averages of 14.7 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. After retirement, Seikaly pursued a successful career in music, becoming a world-renowned DJ and founder of the record label, HOUSE SOUND OF BEVERLY HILLS. Through it all, Seikaly's legacy as a dominant center and fierce competitor remains intact.
