Sean May is a former professional basketball player from the United States of America. He was born on April 4, 1984, in Chicago, Illinois. Sean attended Bloomington High School in Illinois and was a standout player on the school's basketball team. He led his team to two consecutive state championships in 2001 and 2002. After graduation, Sean attended the University of North Carolina and played for the Tar Heels basketball team, under head coach Roy Williams. In his sophomore year, he helped lead the Tar Heels to the NCAA Championship title in 2005, and was named a Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. Sean led the team in scoring with an average of 22.3 points and 10.7 rebounds in the championship game against the University of Illinois.
