Sharone Wright Autographs

Sharone Wright was born on January 30, 1973, in Macon, Georgia. He attended Southwest High School in Macon where he established himself as one of the best high school basketball players in the country. He was named the Georgia Mr. Basketball in 1991 and was selected to play in the McDonald's All-American Game the same year.
Wright attended Clemson University where he continued to excel in basketball. He was named to the All-ACC Freshman Team in his first year and was named to the All-ACC Team twice during his college career. In his junior year, Wright declared for the NBA draft and was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers as the 6th overall pick in the 1994 draft.
Wright played in the NBA for four seasons, from 1994 to 1998. He played for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors during his career and averaged 6.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Unfortunately, his career was cut short due to a severe car accident in 1997 that left him with multiple injuries. Although his NBA career was short-lived, Wright will always be remembered as one of the best basketball players to come out of Macon, Georgia.
