Trey Burke Autographs
Trey Burke is a retired NBA player who was born on November 12, 1992, in Columbus, Ohio. He played college basketball at the University of Michigan from 2011 to 2013, where he was named the National Player of the Year by various basketball outlets during his second year. He also led the team to the NCAA Championship game during his sophomore season, where they lost to Louisville. Burke was then drafted ninth overall in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, but was quickly traded to the Utah Jazz.
Burke played for the Utah Jazz for three seasons before being traded to the Washington Wizards in 2016. After one season in Washington, he was traded to the New York Knicks, where he played for two seasons. Burke was known for his scoring ability and ball-handling skills, but his height - he's only 6 feet tall - was often a disadvantage when guarding larger players. Nevertheless, Burke had a solid NBA career, averaging 10.6 points and 3.6 assists per game throughout his five seasons in the league.
In 2020, Burke began playing for the Dallas Mavericks, but was waived midway through the season. He then signed with the Philadelphia 76ers for the remainder of the 2020-21 season, and eventually helped them make it to the Eastern Conference semifinals. After his successful stint with the 76ers, Burke became a free agent and has not yet signed with another team. Regardless of where he ends up next, Trey Burke is sure to be remembered as a talented and hardworking basketball player who made a significant impact on the court.
