Troy Bell Autographs
Troy Bell is an American retired professional basketball player. Born on November 10th, 1980, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he is known for his impressive career in the sport. He began playing basketball at a very young age, and it became apparent that he was incredibly talented. He attended high school in Minnesota, where he led his team to the state tournament and earned all-state honors twice. He went on to play college basketball for the Boston College Eagles, where he became one of the most accomplished players in the team's history.
During his time at Boston College, Bell's basketball career flourished. He played for four seasons, from 1999 to 2003, and managed to set several records as he led the Eagles to three postseason appearances. He was named the Big East Player of the Year twice and was also the winner of the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award, which is given to the best player in the country who is under six feet tall. Bell's performance on the court was incredible, and he was a key member of the Boston College team that made it to the Sweet Sixteen in 2002. He finished his college career as Boston College's all-time leading scorer with 2,632 points.
After graduating from Boston College in 2003, Bell was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the NBA Draft. He played for the Grizzlies for just one season before moving on to play in Europe, where he had a successful career. He played for teams such as the Italian team Carife Ferrara, the French team Le Havre, and the Israeli team Maccabi Rishon LeZion. Bell ultimately retired from basketball in 2010, and his basketball career remains an inspiration to many aspiring basketball players, particularly those who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
