Wang Zhizhi Autographs

Wang Zhizhi, born on July 8, 1977, in China, is a retired Chinese basketball player who is widely considered one of China's greatest basketball players. At the age of 18, Wang was recruited by the Bayi Rockets, a professional basketball team in China. In 1999, he played for the Chinese national team in the FIBA World Championships and helped lead the team to victory in the Asian Basketball Championship the following year.
In 2001, Wang became the first Chinese player to be drafted into the NBA when the Dallas Mavericks selected him in the second round of the draft. Although he only played with the Mavericks for one season, Wang left a lasting impact on the NBA by becoming the first Asian-born player to score 30 or more points in a game. He then played in the Euroleague for several years before returning to China to finish his career.
Wang's impact on basketball has not been limited to his success on the court. He has been praised for helping to promote the sport among Chinese youth, and has been instrumental in building up the country's basketball infrastructure. In recognition of his contributions to Chinese basketball, Wang was inducted into the Chinese Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017. Today, he is remembered as one of China's most beloved and respected basketball players.
