Alec Gillis is a renowned special effects artist and a creature creator known for his innovative contributions to the film industry. In addition, he has received multiple awards and nominations for his work, including two Academy Award nominations for Best Visual Effects for "Starship Troopers" and "Death Becomes Her." He has also ventured into directing and independent filmmaking, with his directorial debut in 2014, "Harbinger Down."
