David Sloan Autographs

David Sloan is a former American football tight end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons. Born on March 22, 1971, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, he grew up playing football in high school before beginning his college career at Western Michigan University. Sloan was a standout player in his college team, earning all-conference honors and setting records for receptions and yards among the tight ends.
In 1995, David Sloan was selected in the third round of the NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. He spent his first four seasons with the Lions, where he emerged as a reliable receiver and a solid blocker. In 1999, Sloan signed with the New Orleans Saints, where he continued to excel as a tight end. He played two seasons with the Saints before joining the Kansas City Chiefs in 2001. Sloan had his best statistical season with the Chiefs in 2002, recording 56 receptions for 565 yards and four touchdowns.
David Sloan retired from the NFL in 2005, after a memorable career that saw him play in 154 games and catch 197 passes for 2,409 yards and 20 touchdowns. He was known for his toughness, his leadership, and his blocking ability, which made him a valuable asset to his teams. Sloan remains involved in football today, serving as a coach and mentor to young players in his local community. He is also a proud father of three children and enjoys spending time with his family.
