George Abbott Autograph

George Francis Abbott was born on June 25, 1887, in Forestville, New York. He went on to become one of the most successful directors and producers in Broadway history, responsible for numerous hit stage productions that have entertained audiences for generations. Abbott began his career in the theater as an actor, but it was not until he became a writer that he truly found his calling.
