John Moore Autographs
John Moore is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 11 seasons. He was born on November 19, 1980, in Winfield, British Columbia, and was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the first round, 21st overall, in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
After being drafted, Moore played for the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for two seasons before joining the Blue Jackets in the 2010-11 season. He played with Columbus until 2015, when he was traded to the Arizona Coyotes. In his NHL career, Moore played for seven different teams, including the Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils, Montreal Canadiens, and Colorado Avalanche.
Throughout his career, Moore was known for his solid defensive skills and ability to move the puck up the ice. He played a total of 447 games in the NHL, recording 26 goals and 95 assists. After retiring from professional hockey in 2021, Moore became a development coach with the Chicago Blackhawks organization. His career in the NHL may have ended, but his passion for hockey and dedication to the sport continue to make an impact.
