Richard Bachman Autographs
Richard Bachman is an American professional ice hockey goaltender who has played in the National Hockey League (NHL) as well as several minor leagues. Born on July 25, 1987, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Bachman grew up playing soccer and ice hockey in his hometown. As a young athlete, Bachman was known for his dedication and hard work, and he quickly rose through the ranks of local hockey leagues. He played for the Utah Stars and the Salt Lake City Junior Grizzlies before joining the Idaho Steelheads in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
Bachman played college hockey for Colorado College for three seasons, where he set records and gained many accolades for his goaltending. In 2009, he was named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) player of the year and the University of Colorado athlete of the year. Bachman finished his college career with 45 wins, a 2.63 goals-against average, and a .919 save percentage. He turned pro soon after, joining the Dallas Stars organization. He played for the team's minor league affiliates, the Texas Stars and the Idaho Steelheads, before making his NHL debut on December 11, 2010, with the Dallas Stars. Bachman played in 32 NHL games, recording a 14-10-2 record with a .903 save percentage and a 2.93 goals-against average.
After several years of playing in the minor leagues, Bachman signed a one-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks in 2018. He played for the Canucks minor league affiliate, the Utica Comets, before being called up to the NHL in January 2019. Bachman currently plays for the Canucks and is known for his athleticism and excellent reflexes. Although he may not have achieved the same level of fame and recognition as some of the NHL's biggest stars, Bachman's career is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the sport he loves.
