Rick Parker is a former American baseball player who is known for his remarkable contribution to baseball. He was born on September 7, 1965, in California, USA. Parker attended on a scholarship at Stanford University where he played as an outfielder for the Stanford Cardinal. In his college career, he hit .299 with seven home runs and 101 RBIs. Following his college career, the New York Mets drafted Parker in the 14th round of the 1988 Major League Baseball draft. Parker played for several years with Mets affiliates, moving up the ranks, and finally making his Major League debut in 1992 with the New York Mets. In 1993, he played for the Cincinnati Reds and had a batting average of .260. His career in the Major League spanned from 1992 to 1994, and he played for a total of two teams during that time.
