Shawn Alexander Autographs
Shawn Alexander is a former American professional football player who played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL). Born on August 7, 1977, in Florence, Kentucky, he played college football at the University of Alabama, where he had an impressive career, setting several records and earning numerous accolades, including the SEC Player of the Year and the Doak Walker Award for the nation's best running back in 1999.
After graduating from college, Alexander was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft, where he spent most of his career. He quickly established himself as one of the best running backs in the league, earning three Pro Bowl selections and the NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in 2005. Alexander was also a key player in the Seahawks' run to Super Bowl XL in 2006, where they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Alexander retired from the NFL in 2008 after 9 seasons, finishing his career with 9,453 yards rushing, 1,520 receiving yards, and 112 touchdowns. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in Seattle Seahawks history and is still ranked as the team's all-time leading rusher. In 2011, he was inducted into the Seahawks Ring of Honor, a testament to his tremendous impact on the organization and the sport of American football.
