Adrian Amos is an American football player who currently plays as a safety for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). Born on April 29, 1993, in Baltimore, Maryland, Amos attended Calvert Hall College High School in Baltimore, where he was an outstanding football player. During his high school career, he recorded 209 tackles, 12 interceptions, and six fumble recoveries, earning him a scholarship to play college football at Penn State University.
At Penn State, Amos continued to impress as a versatile defensive back. He played in 52 games over four seasons, recording 149 tackles, five interceptions, and three forced fumbles. In his senior year, he earned All-Big Ten honorable mention after starting in all 13 games for the Nittany Lions. Amos's impressive college career caught the attention of NFL scouts, and he was selected in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears.
Amos spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the Bears, where he established himself as an impact player on defense. During his time with Chicago, he played in 60 games, recording 290 tackles, three interceptions, and three sacks. He was also named the Bears' defensive captain for the 2018-2019 season. In March 2019, Amos signed a four-year, $37 million contract with the Green Bay Packers, where he has continued to thrive on defense. In his first season with the Packers, he recorded 81 tackles, two interceptions, and a touchdown, helping the team reach the NFC Championship game. Adrian Amos's outstanding American football career highlights him as one of the best players in his position.
