Andra Franklin Autographs
Andra Franklin was an American football player who played as a running back. He was born on December 22nd, 1959 in Florence, South Carolina. Franklin attended the University of Nebraska in 1978 and played for the Cornhuskers team until 1981. During his time as a Cornhusker, he played in two Orange Bowls and one Liberty Bowl. He was considered one of the best running backs of his time in college football.
After his successful college career, Franklin was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 1982 NFL draft. During his eight-year career with the Dolphins, he played in 93 games, rushing for 3,094 yards and scoring 24 touchdowns. Franklin was an integral part of the Dolphins team that reached the Super Bowl in his rookie year, where they were defeated by the Washington Redskins. He was known for his powerful running style and ability to make clutch plays when it mattered most.
Despite being a solid performer for the Dolphins, Franklin's career was unfortunately cut short by injuries. He retired in 1989 at the young age of 29. However, his contribution to the Miami Dolphins will always be remembered. After his retirement, he returned to his home state of South Carolina and became a businessman. Andra Franklin is still fondly remembered by his fans and teammates for his determination and resilience both on and off the field.
