Bryant's professional career began in 2002 when he was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the NFL Draft. He spent four seasons with the Cowboys and played a key role in the team's offensive strategy, catching 1,408 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. He then moved on to play for the Cleveland Browns in 2004 and San Francisco 49ers in 2006, where he made some of his best performance, including his career-best game of 12 catches for 200 yards and a touchdown. In 2008, he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had a successful stint with the club, catching 83 passes for 1,248 yards and seven touchdowns, which led to a Pro Bowl selection.

Bryant's football career came to an end in 2012 after a few brief appearances with different teams, mostly due to injury. His overall career as a wide receiver spanned ten years, during which he gained an impressive collection of accolades, including a Pro Bowl selection and several team and individual records.
