Armando Allen Autographs
Armando Allen is a former American football running back. He was born on January 10, 1989, in Opa-locka, Florida. He began his football career in high school where he played for Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High School. He was a standout player, averaging 8.8 yards per carry and scoring 11 touchdowns during his senior season. Following high school, Allen committed to play for the University of Notre Dame.
During his college career, Allen played for the Fighting Irish from 2007 to 2010. He was a versatile player who could both rush and receive the ball. In his freshman year, he rushed for 348 yards in 56 carries with one touchdown. He also caught 16 passes for 128 yards with two touchdowns. Allen's best year came in his junior year in 2009 when he had 697 rushing yards, 20 catches for 175 receiving yards, and three touchdowns. His college career was cut short due to injury, but he still managed to make it to the NFL.
In 2011, Allen signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent. He then moved on to the Chicago Bears where he played from 2011 to 2012. During his career, he played in a total of 16 games, rushing for 124 yards and making 15 receptions for 124 yards. While Allen's NFL career was short, he left a lasting impact on the college football world and will always be remembered as a standout player at Notre Dame.
