Aundrae Allison is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons. Born on January 7, 1985, in Tampa, Florida, Allison attended Middleton High School before enrolling at the University of East Carolina to play college football. During his college career, Allison quickly established himself as a top-tier wide receiver, earning accolades for his performance on and off the field.
Allison began his NFL career in 2007 after being drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. He spent two seasons with the Vikings, where he made significant contributions to the team's success. His breakout performance came in a game against the Baltimore Ravens in 2009, where he recorded three catches for 84 yards and one touchdown. In 2009, Allison joined the New York Jets, where he spent one season before being released in 2010. He returned to the Vikings later that year, but his playing time was limited due to injuries.
Allison's NFL career came to an end in 2011 when he was released by the Vikings. He finished his professional football career with 18 receptions for 233 yards and two touchdowns. Despite the short duration of his NFL career, Allison was known for his exceptional speed and athleticism, which made him a formidable threat in the field. After retiring from football, Allison went on to pursue a career outside sports. He currently works as a supervisor at a youth residential treatment center in Florida, where he uses his athleticism and leadership skills to mentor and inspire young people.
