Bernard Pierce Autographs
Bernard Pierce is a former professional American football running back who played for the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars in the National Football League (NFL). Born in Ardmore, Pennsylvania in 1990, he attended Glen Mills High School in Concordville, Pennsylvania, where he played football and helped the team win the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association state championship in 2007.
Pierce went on to play college football at Temple University from 2009 to 2011. In his college career, he rushed for 3,570 yards and 33 touchdowns and was named the 2011 Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Pierce was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He started his rookie season as a backup to Ray Rice but quickly became an important part of the team. In his first season, he rushed for 532 yards and a touchdown, helping the Ravens win Super Bowl XLVII.
However, Pierce's time with the Ravens was cut short due to off-the-field issues and injuries. In 2015, he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars but was released after just one season. He later had stints with the New York Jets and Denver Broncos but failed to make an impact. Pierce retired from football in 2019, ending his NFL career with 1,345 rushing yards, 5 rushing touchdowns, and a Super Bowl ring.
