Bell attended the University of Minnesota, where he played both football and basketball. He was a two-time All-American in football and helped lead the Golden Gophers to a national championship in 1960. Bell was drafted by the Dallas Texans in 1963 as the second overall pick and immediately made an impact on the field. Bell played as a linebacker, and his versatility was one of his biggest assets. He was equally adept at stopping the run and defending against the pass.

During his 12-year career, Bell helped the Kansas City Chiefs win three AFL championships and one Super Bowl. He was named to the Pro Bowl six times and was a four-time All-Pro selection. Bell was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1983, and his number 78 jersey was retired by the Chiefs in 2008. Bobby Bell's contributions to American football will always be remembered and celebrated by the fans of the sport. Read even more about Bobby Bell at Wikipedia
