Bradlee Van Pelt Autograph
Bradlee Van Pelt is a former American football quarterback who played for the Colorado State Rams in the early 2000s. Born on June 19, 1980, in Owosso, Michigan, Van Pelt grew up with a love for football and began playing the sport at the age of eight. During his college career, Van Pelt led the Rams to three consecutive bowl games, including a victory in the 2000 Liberty Bowl. He set numerous school records, including the most career total yards (11,415) and most career passing yards (7,548). He was also a finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2002. After his senior year, Van Pelt was selected by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
Van Pelt spent four seasons in the NFL, playing for the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, and Seattle Seahawks. He mostly served as a backup quarterback and saw limited playing time. In 2008, he decided to retire from football and pursue a career in coaching. Van Pelt began his coaching career at the University of Alabama as a graduate assistant, and later served as an assistant coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Miami Dolphins.
