During his NFL career, Lloyd played for several teams, including the Chicago Bears, Washington Redskins, Denver Broncos, St. Louis Rams, New England Patriots, and San Francisco 49ers. He had his best season in 2010 while playing for the Denver Broncos, where he led the league in receiving yards (1,448) and was named to the Pro Bowl. Lloyd was also named the NFL Alumni Wide Receiver of the Year that same year. Over the course of his career, Lloyd had 5,822 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns.

Lloyd retired from the NFL in 2014 and has since become involved in various business ventures. He has his own clothing line, called the Zone87 Brand, and is a co-founder of a tech startup called Experience App. Lloyd has also worked in broadcasting, serving as an analyst on the NFL Network and as a commentator for college football games on the Pac-12 Network. Despite his success off the field, Lloyd will always be remembered for his explosive speed and ability to make acrobatic catches during his time in the NFL.
