Brett Keisel Autographs
Brett Keisel is a former American football player who made a name for himself as a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). Born on September 19, 1978, in Provo, Utah, Keisel grew up in Greybull, Wyoming, where he attended the local high school. He was a standout athlete in multiple sports, including football, basketball, and track and field. Keisel played as a quarterback and linebacker in high school, but he eventually transitioned to defensive end when he joined the Brigham Young University (BYU) football team.
Keisel started his professional football career in 2002 when he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the seventh round of the NFL draft. He spent his entire 13-year career with the Steelers and played in 156 regular-season games, starting in 114 of them. Keisel was known for his aggressive and physical style of play, which made him a formidable force on the field. He was also renowned for his iconic beard, which he grew out annually as part of a charitable cause known as "Shear the Beard."
Throughout his career, Keisel earned numerous accolades for his outstanding performance on the football field. He was a two-time Super Bowl champion, winning the title with the Steelers in 2006 and 2009. He was also named to the Pro Bowl in 2010, and he earned a spot on the All-Pro second team in 2011. After retiring from football in 2015, Keisel has remained involved in the sport as a coach, commentator, and philanthropist.
