Brian Hoyer Autographs
Brian Hoyer is an American football quarterback, born on October 13, 1985, in Lakewood, Ohio. He started his football career at St. Ignatius High School, where he played for the Wildcats, and was named the team captain and the Plain Dealer All-Star after leading them to the Ohio state championship. He later attended Michigan State University, where he played for the Spartans, and was a three-time Academic All-American.
After going undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft, Brian Hoyer signed as a free agent with the New England Patriots. He spent three seasons with the team, serving as the backup quarterback to Tom Brady. In 2012, he was released by the Patriots and signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers but was released again before the start of the regular season. He then joined the Arizona Cardinals, where he spent the next two seasons, making his first career NFL start in 2012.
Brian Hoyer has since played for several teams in the NFL, including the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, and Indianapolis Colts. He has played in 70 games, starting in 39 of them, and has thrown for over 10,000 yards and 52 touchdowns. He has also played in two playoff games, including one with the Texans in which he threw for 326 yards and four touchdowns in a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. Brian Hoyer has built a solid career as a journeyman quarterback and continues to contribute to teams in need of his experience and leadership on the field.
