Benjamin Franklin "Buck" Belue played American football and baseball at the University of Georgia from 1978 to 1981. He was the quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs in 1980, when the team went 12–0, and, after beating Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl, was named the consensus national champion. One of the key plays in the 1980 season was a 93-yard touchdown pass from Belue to wide receiver Lindsay Scott that led to a victory over the University of Florida, which was at one time tied with two other passing plays as the longest passing touchdown in Georgia history. This record was later broken by Aaron Murray's 98-yard touchdown pass to Reggie Davis in Georgia's victory over North Texas in 2013. Belue was named captain of the 1981 team. More about Buck Belue

BUCK BELUE: Title still out there for Georgia (09/10/13): Georgia has two weeks to get ready for a tough LSU team. Not to discredit North Texas, but that one is a fundraiser. It's an exhibition. Stockpile some money and put one in the win column.
BUCK BELUE: Georgia football team needs Grantham to ready defense (07/14/13): University of Georgia defensive coordinator Todd Grantham is in the spotlight as the Bulldogs get this football season started. Can he get all these new guys coached up and ready to hunker down? That is the big question entering the 2013 season.
BUCK BELUE: Georgia-Clemson will start college football season with a bang (05/13/13): Count me in. Can hardly wait for the start of the college football season this year. It'll start with a big one - Georgia-Clemson, under the lights in Death Valley. Both teams should be hitting the field somewhere around the top 10.
BUCK BELUE: Georgia needs to fill holes on defense, better use weapons on offens (02/28/13): The Georgia Bulldogs are about to get spring practice under way. On defense, it's time to find some new dudes who are ready to hunker down. And on offense, it's time to tweak a few things. Defensive coordinator Todd Grantham is going to be busy.
BUCK BELUE: Grantham staying should be good news for UGA (02/2013): Looks like the Georgia Bulldogs will have coach Todd Grantham hanging around for another season. That should be good news, but it sounds like a lot the Bulldog Nation is a little down on Grantham. Why? Two reasons, they say.
