Butch Davis is an American football coach who became an integral part of the NFL and NCAA football teams. Davis showed his passion for football as early as high school where he was a two-time All-State Defensive End. He then attended the University of Arkansas, where he played football from 1969-1971, and then moved on to become a graduate assistant at the University of Oklahoma. His career began taking off when he was named the defensive coordinator at the University of Miami in 1984.
