Carlos Polk Autographs
Carlos Polk, born June 16, 1977, is a former American football linebacker who played a total of 10 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Polk began his football career as a standout player for his high school team in Little Rock, Arkansas. He then went on to play college football for the University of Nebraska.
After graduating from college, Polk was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He spent seven seasons with the Chargers before being traded to the Dallas Cowboys in 2008 where he played for another three seasons. During his NFL career, Polk was known for his hard-hitting tackling skills and special teams play. He played in 131 games and recorded 223 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one interception.
Polk announced his retirement from the NFL in 2011 and has since pursued a career in coaching. He has worked as a defensive quality control coach for the Atlanta Falcons and also served as a linebackers coach for the University of Nevada. Despite his retirement, Polk has remained involved in the sport and continues to inspire and mentor future generations of football players.
