Carroll Dale Autographs
Carroll Dale was an American football player born on October 30, 1938, in Wise, Virginia. He grew up in a small community where football was one of the most significant past times. Carroll spent most of his high school years playing football for the Union High School team in Big Stone Gap, VA. He led his team to many victories, and his exceptional skills earned him several accolades. After high school, he enrolled at Virginia Tech and continued to play football under head coach Frank O. Moseley. He played as a split end or wide receiver for Virginia Tech and eventually earned a spot in the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame.
Carroll Dale's professional football career started in 1960 after being drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the eighth round of the NFL Draft. He played for the Rams for six seasons before being traded to the Green Bay Packers in 1965. Dale played for the Packers as a starting wide receiver, where he won three consecutive NFL championships, Super Bowl I and II, and was a member of the Packers team that played in Super Bowl IV. Carroll Dale's contribution to the Packers' success was significant, and it earned him a place in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.
Carroll Dale's football career spanned over 14 years, and he played for two of the NFL's most successful teams at the time. His skills as a wide receiver stood out, and he was known for his ability to catch passes, run precise routes, and create plays.
