Cedric Griffin Autographs
Cedric Griffin is a former American football cornerback who was born on November 11, 1982, in San Antonio, Texas. He played college football at the University of Texas at Austin and was considered one of the top cornerbacks in the country during his time there. In 2006, he was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the second round of the NFL Draft.
Griffin spent six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, where he quickly established himself as one of their top defensive players. He was known for his physicality, speed, and ability to cover some of the best wide receivers in the league. He finished his career in Minnesota with 357 tackles, eight interceptions, and 46 defended passes. In 2011, he suffered a serious injury to his knee in a game against the Washington Redskins, and he missed the rest of the season.
After leaving Minnesota, Griffin signed with the Washington Redskins, but he was unable to regain his form after his injury. He played only one season with Washington, then later signed with the Philadelphia Eagles but was cut before the regular season. Cedric Griffin's American football career was one that was highlighted by incredible athleticism and dedicated performances on the field. Despite suffering an injury that left many questioning his ability to ever play again, he will be remembered as a great talent who gave his all for the game.
