Chase Coffman is a former American football tight end who was born on November 10, 1986, in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Raymore-Peculiar High School in Peculiar, Missouri, where he began playing football as a wide receiver. Coffman quickly proved to be a talented athlete, earning several accolades including the Missouri Football Coaches Association Class 5A Offensive Player of the Year and the Kansas City Star’s All-Metro Player of the Year. In 2005, Coffman began playing college football for the University of Missouri Tigers. He quickly established himself as one of the best tight ends in the nation, setting several school records and earning numerous awards. In his senior year, he was named a consensus All-American and won the John Mackey Award, which is given annually to the nation’s best tight end.
