Chris Polk Autographs
Chris Polk is an American football player who played as a running back during his college and professional football career. Born on December 16, 1989, in Redlands, California, Polk grew up with a passion for football. He attended East Valley High School and played on the football team, leading it to the playoffs in his senior year. Polk was a highly sought-after recruit and received offers from several notable colleges, eventually committing to the University of Washington.
Polk played for the University of Washington from 2009 to 2011, where he established himself as one of the best running backs in the Pac-10 conference. He rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his three seasons and set several school records, including the career rushing touchdown record. He was also named first-team All-Pac-10 in 2010 and 2011. After his junior year, Polk decided to forgo his senior season and declared for the 2012 NFL Draft.
Polk was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012. He spent two seasons with the Eagles, primarily as a backup to LeSean McCoy. However, Polk made significant contributions to the team, rushing for four touchdowns and catching ten passes for 78 yards. He was later signed by the Houston Texans in 2015 but was waived just before the start of the season due to a hamstring injury. Polk retired from the NFL in 2016, ending his football career on the field as a highly accomplished running back.
