Chris Samuels Autographs
Chris Samuels was born on July 28, 1977, in Mobile, Alabama. He attended Shaw High School, where he excelled as a football player. He was named All-State and All-American during his high school career. After graduating from high school, he accepted a scholarship to the University of Alabama to play for the Crimson Tide football team.
During his time at Alabama, Chris Samuels established himself as one of the best offensive lineman in college football. He was a three-time All-American and a two-time first-team All-SEC honoree. In 1999, he won the Outland Trophy, which is awarded to the best interior lineman in college football. After his college career, Samuels was selected third overall in the 2000 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins.
Chris Samuels had a successful career with the Washington Redskins, playing for ten seasons from 2000 to 2009. He was named to the Pro Bowl team six times and was a four-time All-Pro selection. He was credited with helping to turn the team's fortunes around in the early 2000s, helping the team reach the playoffs in 2005 and 2007. Unfortunately, Samuels had to retire from football in 2010 due to a spinal cord injury, but he left a lasting legacy as one of the best offensive linemen to play for the Washington Redskins.
