Clark Haggans is a former American Football linebacker who spent most of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was born on February 10, 1977, in Chandler, Arizona. Haggans attended Arizona State University, where he played college football. It was here, in his final season, that Haggans made a name for himself by leading the team with 16 sacks. In 2000, Haggans was drafted in the fifth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Steelers for eight seasons, starting in 101 of the 124 games he played in. Clark helped the Steelers win two Super Bowls (Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl XLIII) during his time with the team. In 2008, he became an unrestricted free agent, and he went on to play for the Arizona Cardinals for three seasons before retiring from football in 2012. Throughout his career, Haggans was a fierce and dependable linebacker who was known for his ability to pressure the quarterback and make crucial tackles during crucial moments.

Clark Haggans had a tremendous football career, which spanned over a decade. He played for two very successful franchises and also won two Super Bowls. Haggans will always be remembered as one of the league's premier linebackers, and his contributions to the game never went unnoticed.
