Clint Session was born on September 22nd, 1984 in Pompano Beach, Florida. He attended Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach where he played football for the Blanche Ely Tigers. During his senior year, Session helped lead the Tigers to a 9-2 record and a spot in the state playoffs. After high school, Session attended the University of Pittsburgh where he played college football for the Pitt Panthers. He played in 45 games during his college career, including 17 starts. During his senior year, he was named to the All-Big East First Team after recording 95 tackles, two interceptions, and three sacks. Session was then selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Session played six seasons in the NFL, spending the first four with the Colts and the final two with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played in 74 games during his career, starting 44 of them. He recorded 357 tackles, eight sacks, and four interceptions. Session's best season came in 2010 when he recorded a career-high 104 tackles for the Colts. Despite his success on the field, Session's career was cut short due to multiple concussions. He officially announced his retirement from football in May 2014.
