Cody Kessler Autographs
Cody Kessler is an American football quarterback who has played for numerous teams in both the National Football League (NFL) and the XFL. Born on May 11, 1993, Kessler grew up in Bakersfield, California, where he attended Centennial High School. During his high school career, Kessler was a three-year starting quarterback and threw for 2,831 yards and 36 touchdowns as a senior. After graduating from high school in 2011, Kessler committed to playing college football for the University of Southern California (USC).
Kessler spent four years playing for USC, where he set numerous records and developed a reputation as a strong, consistent quarterback. He played in 47 games during his college career, starting 41 of them, and threw for a total of 10,339 yards and 88 touchdowns. During his senior year, Kessler was named team captain and led the Trojans to victory in the 2015 Holiday Bowl. He was also named a finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and the Manning Award for his exceptional play during his final season at USC.
After college, Kessler was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He played for the Browns for two seasons, starting eight games and throwing for 1,506 yards and six touchdowns. Kessler then went on to play for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, and New England Patriots over the next few years before joining the XFL's Dallas Renegades in 2020. Throughout his career, Kessler has been known for his accuracy and ability to make quick decisions on the field, and he continues to be a valued member of the football community.
