Cody Wallace Autographs
Cody Wallace is a retired American football player who played as a center in the National Football League (NFL). Born on November 26, 1984, in Cuero, Texas, Wallace attended Texas A&M University, where he played college football. In 2008, he was selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
Wallace started his NFL career as a backup center and offensive guard for the 49ers. However, he was released after just one season and joined the New York Jets and played in their practice squad. In 2010, he moved to the Detroit Lions and continued to play as a backup player. However, he struggled to find a consistent playing time and was released by the Lions in 2011.
In November 2012, the Pittsburgh Steelers picked up Wallace, and he played for them until his retirement in 2018. During his time in Pittsburgh, he was mostly a backup player, but he had to fill in for injured starters from time to time. Throughout his career, Wallace played in a total of 88 games and started 24 of them. He retired in 2018, and as of 2021, he is still the only person from Cuero, Texas, to play in the NFL.
