Collin Klein Autographs
Collin Klein is a former American football quarterback who played for Kansas State University from 2008-2012. Born on September 29, 1989, in Loveland, Colorado, Klein had a passion for football from a young age. He played both football and basketball at Loveland High School, where he became a Colorado All-State selection in both sports his senior year. Following high school, Klein joined the Kansas State Wildcats football team as a quarterback.
Klein’s college football career was a standout, where he became known for his tough, physical style of play. He helped the Wildcats achieve a number of impressive records, including leading the team to a 10-2 regular-season record in 2011 and 11-2 in 2012. He was awarded the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in both of these seasons, and in 2012, he was also a finalist for the Heisman Trophy, which is awarded to the best player in college football. In addition to his impressive individual achievements, Klein led the Wildcats to a number of significant victories, including a win over the University of Oklahoma in 2012. After college, Klein signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent, but did not play in the NFL.
Despite not achieving success in professional football, Klein’s college football career is one to be remembered. He was a rare talent who was able to lead his team to achieve great things, while also remaining a humble and dedicated player. Today, he continues to be involved in the sport as a coach, working with quarterbacks at Northern Iowa University. His commitment to football has inspired many players and fans alike, and his contributions to the game will forever be a significant part of Kansas State University’s history.
