Dale Hellestrae Autographs
Dale Hellestrae is a retired American football player who made his mark in the National Football League (NFL) as a long snapper and offensive lineman. Born on May 15, 1962, in Spokane, Washington, Hellestrae played high school football at Lewis and Clark High School, where he was a standout offensive lineman. After graduation, he attended Southern Methodist University (SMU), where he played as a center and long snapper.
Hellestrae's professional career began in 1985, when he was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent. He played for the Cowboys for five seasons and was recognized for his exceptional long snapping skills. In 1990, he signed with the Buffalo Bills, where he played for four seasons and was part of the team that appeared in four consecutive Super Bowls. In 1994, he signed with the Atlanta Falcons, where he played for two seasons, before retiring from the NFL in 1996.
Hellestrae's career highlights include being named to the Pro Bowl in 1991 and 1995, as well as being a member of the All-Pro Second Team in 1995. He is widely regarded as one of the best long snappers in NFL history, playing in 200 games over a 12-year career. After his retirement, Hellestrae worked as a color commentator for NFL Europe and later co-founded a company that produced sports content for radio and television.
