Dawson Knox is an American football tight end who currently plays for the Buffalo Bills in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on November 14, 1996, in Brentwood, Tennessee, and grew up in Nashville. Knox began playing football in high school, where he played as a quarterback and started all four years. He led his high school team to a state championship in his senior year and was named the Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year.\n
Knox went on to play college football at the University of Mississippi, where he transitioned from quarterback to tight end. He played for the Ole Miss Rebels from 2016 to 2018 and recorded 39 receptions for 605 yards and no touchdowns. Knox's performance during his junior season caught the attention of NFL teams, and he was eventually drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.\n
Since joining the Bills, Knox has become an integral part of their offense. In his rookie season, he played in 15 games, starting in six of them, and recorded 28 receptions for 388 yards and two touchdowns. He continued to make significant contributions during the 2020 season, where he played in 12 games and recorded 24 receptions for 288 yards and three touchdowns. Knox's combination of size, speed, and athleticism has made him a threat in the passing game and a valuable asset to the Bills' offense.
